Sofitel "a luxurious downtown hotel in the Windy City" is offering a 12 month hospitality internship at their Chicago location. In this internship you'll learn about the front desk operations and be able to perform core functions of front desk and realize the importance of front desk as a central nerve system in a hotel. You will also gain experience in the hotel's food and beverage department and work directly with the F&B management staff and learn how to effectively communicate with hotel guests, supervisors and management and colleagues. You will also have a chance to train directly with the Director of F&B and Restaurant Manager.
By the end of this training, you, the participant will shadow a team member to learn the effective routines of the restaurant to perform specific standards of this outlet. Learn high standards of quality and service at a fine dining restaurant setting. Understand HC's food philosophies and menus.
